What are Paragons? Paragons award permanent Heroic AAs that provide a wide range of stat boosts and bonuses — increased HP, mana, endurance regeneration, combat effectiveness, and more — that never fade and stay with your character forever. Each expansion from The Burning Lands onwards has its own Paragon quest, and completing them all stacks into a substantial permanent foundation of power. In addition to these Heroic AAs, Paragon progression unlocks some of the most powerful and unique rewards in the game: extremely potent clickies, rare illusions, exclusive augmentations, and powerful familiars that cannot be obtained through any other means. These are among the most impactful long-term upgrades available in EverQuest.

What are Evolving Items? Evolving items are a unique class of equipment introduced in The Burning Lands that grow stronger as you complete content. Starting at a base tier, each item evolves through multiple stages by completing quests, missions, and achievements across an expansion. At max evolution they become some of the most powerful and unique pieces available — with special aug slots (including raid-type slots) and effects not found on any other gear. The journey is long, but the result is a permanent, soulbound item that defines your character.
